Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the ViTViT apps and services in Haiti. By creating an account or using ViTViT, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
ViTViT is a platform that connects riders, drivers/couriers, and stores for transport and delivery. ViTViT is a technology intermediary — the drivers provide the transport service.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and provide accurate, complete information. A person under 18 may only travel when accompanied by a responsible adult. Drivers must pass document verification before accepting trips.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the security of your account and your PIN. Do not share your PIN with anyone. Tell us immediately if you think someone accessed your account without permission.
4. Payments and fees
You can pay with cash or MonCash. The price is shown before you confirm the trip.
A small platform fee may be added to each transaction to cover services such as SMS. Fees are shown before you confirm.
Cancellation and refund rules appear in the app where applicable.
5. User conduct
Use ViTViT only for lawful purposes. Do not commit fraud, do not interfere with others, and respect drivers, riders, and stores.
6. Driver terms
Drivers are independent workers, not employees of ViTViT. Drivers must hold valid documents, drive safely, and follow Haitian traffic law.
7. Prohibited uses
Do not use the service to transport illegal items, for threats or harassment, or for any activity that breaks the law.
In addition, you may not send or transport with ViTViT: weapons or ammunition, drugs or illegal substances, large amounts of cash, dangerous or explosive items, live animals without authorization, or any goods prohibited by Haitian law.
8. Liability
We provide the service “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, ViTViT is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service. This does not remove any rights you have under Haitian law.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend an account that violates these terms or endangers the safety of others.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Haiti.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the “Last updated” date, and if you keep using ViTViT it means you accept the new terms.
12. Safety and emergencies
Your safety matters greatly to us. The app has an emergency SOS button, lets you share your trip live with people you trust, and all calls go through a masked number to protect your privacy.
However, ViTViT is a platform that connects people — we cannot guarantee the behavior of every driver or rider. We do not tolerate any violence, threats, harassment, or weapons. We may remove anyone who endangers the safety of others. In a serious emergency, call the authorities first.
13. Force majeure
ViTViT is not responsible for delays or unavailability of the service when they result from circumstances beyond our control. This includes: roadblocks or protests, insecurity or violence, natural disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes or floods, power outages, internet or phone-network outages, fuel shortages, strikes, or decisions by the authorities. In such cases, we will try to restore the service as soon as possible.
14. Service availability
ViTViT is rolling out city by city, starting with Les Cayes. The service may not be available in every area or at every time. We may pause or limit the service in an area at any time for safety reasons. We do not guarantee the service will always be available around the clock.
15. Dispute resolution
If you have a problem or a complaint, please contact ViTViT support first — we will try to resolve it together in good faith. If no solution is reached, the dispute will be resolved under the laws of the Republic of Haiti, before the competent courts in Haiti.
16. Third-party services and property
ViTViT uses third-party services such as MonCash, NatCash, and Google Maps. These services have their own terms, and ViTViT is not responsible for them. The ViTViT name, the logo, the app, and all content are the property of ViTViT — you may not copy or use them without permission.
17. Who operates ViTViT
ViTViT is operated in Haiti by a company legally registered in Haiti. The technology that powers the platform is developed by a company based in Australia, which licenses that technology to the Haitian company. The service you receive in Haiti is governed by Haitian law.
18. Language of the agreement
We provide these terms in three languages: Haitian Creole, French, and English, and we make every effort for all three versions to say the same thing. If there is any difference between the versions, the Haitian Creole version prevails.
