Frequently asked questions

Short answers on how ViTViT works. If you cannot find what you are looking for, write to us — we are here every day.

What is ViTViT?

ViTViT is an app that connects you with moto and car drivers near you, and lets you send a package or order food — all in one app.

It is built in Haiti, for Haiti: it works on 2G and 3G networks, it takes cash, and you need neither a credit card nor a bank account.

Is there Uber in Haiti?

No. Uber and Lyft do not operate in Haiti — not in Port-au-Prince, and nowhere else in the country. That is precisely why ViTViT exists.

ViTViT is a Haitian app, built in Haiti for the way Haiti actually works: landmarks instead of street names, cash, and it runs on 2G networks. We currently operate in the South department, in Les Cayes.

How is ViTViT different from an ordinary moto taxi?

You see the price in the app before you get on, and it is recorded. For rides you can still negotiate by up to ±20% — but you start from a clear number, not a guess.

The driver has passed document verification before being able to accept a ride. During the trip the ride is GPS-recorded, you have an SOS button, you can share your trip live with someone you trust, and calls go through a masked number.

Which cities does ViTViT serve?

ViTViT is starting in the South department, in Les Cayes. We open city by city.

We do not promise service in a city before it is genuinely available there. When we reach yours, you will see it in the app.

How do I book a moto or a car?

Open the app, mark where you are, choose the vehicle type (M-vit, Vit-Vit or Èsyou-VIT), then confirm. The app finds a driver near you.

You see the price before you confirm. For a ride, the price can be negotiated by up to ±20%. For a package, you can offer less (−15%) or more (+30%).

How much does a ride cost?

Prices start at: M-vit HTG 200 (moto, 1 passenger), Vit-Vit HTG 750 (air-conditioned car, 4 passengers), Èsyou-VIT HTG 1,500 (large vehicle, 6 passengers).

The final price depends on distance and time. The app shows it to you before you confirm — no surprises.

How do I pay?

For now you pay in cash directly to the driver. MonCash (Digicel) and NatCash (Natcom) payments in the app are coming soon.

No credit card needed. No bank account needed.

I do not have a street address. Can I still use ViTViT?

Yes — that is exactly what the app was built for. ViTViT never asks you for a street name.

You pick your neighbourhood, a nearby landmark (church, market, school, gas station…), and you can add a note like “three houses past the red shop”. That is how people actually navigate in Haiti.

Does the app work on a weak connection?

Yes. ViTViT is built for 2G and 3G networks — which is what most people in Haiti have. The app is light and loads quickly even when the signal is poor.

You need a connection to book a ride and to follow it, but the app does not require a fast network to work.

What languages is ViTViT available in?

Haitian Creole, French and English. You choose your language in the app and on the site, and everything switches together — no mixed languages.

The support team answers in all three.

Is ViTViT safe?

Drivers must pass document verification before they can accept a ride.

During a ride you have an SOS button, you can share your trip live with someone you trust, and all calls go through a masked number — neither you nor the driver sees the other's real number.

In a serious emergency, call the Haitian National Police directly: 114.

How do I send a package?

Choose Package delivery in the app, say where the package is and where it is going, then confirm. Prices start at HTG 275.

You follow the package in real time on your phone until it arrives.

How do I order food?

Choose Food & Stores in the app, order from a local restaurant or shop, then pay however you prefer.

The food arrives in a secure box. You receive a 4-digit code — only you have it, and it is what opens the box. The driver never sees the code.

How do I become a ViTViT driver?

If you have a moto or a car, you can register in the driver app. You will need valid documents: your licence, your CIN, and the vehicle papers.

ViTViT drivers are independent workers — you choose your hours and your zone. You see what you earn on each trip in the app, before and after.

I run a shop or a restaurant. How do I work with ViTViT?

ViTViT has an app for merchants. You receive orders, you prepare them, and a ViTViT courier collects them.

Call the merchant line: +509 3131 3107 — every day, 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM.

Who is behind ViTViT?

ViTViT is operated in Haiti. The technology is provided under license by Sprint Agility Pty Ltd.

The support team is based in Haiti and answers every day, 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM, in Haitian Creole, French and English.

Where can I download the app?

ViTViT is three apps, and all three are on both the App Store and Google Play: ViTViT for riders, ViTViT Chofè for drivers and ViTViT Boutik for merchants.

Get them here: the ViTViT apps on the App Store or on Google Play. All of them are free.

How do I sign in to the app?

With your phone number and your 6-digit PIN — no SMS code every time. It is the same PIN you chose when you signed up.

Forgot your PIN? Tap Forgot your PIN? in the app and choose a new one with a single code. You can change your PIN any time in the app.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Delete my account.

You can also do it online, on the Delete your account page.
